Custom requests are considered on a limited basis. While Salt Hive Silver primarily focuses on original designs and small-batch collections, I occasionally take on custom work if it aligns with my style and current capacity. If you have a special project in mind, feel free to reach out through the contact form—just know that availability is limited and not all requests can be accommodated.

Please be aware that all pieces are hand made, start to finish, by me, Michelle. That being said your pieces may have slight imperfections and character that make your item one of a kind!

All of my work is hand fabricated from .925 sterling silver and natural stones, then polished to a shine! These pieces are meant to last forever but still require some TLC from time to time to prevent tarnish or damage.
Avoid wearing your jewelry when bathing, swimming, hot tubbing and so on. To clean your jewelry, use a soft brush with mild soapy water and polish with a jewelry polishing cloth which will be included with your order.
*DO NOT use cleaning chemicals.

Yes! All Salt Hive Silver pieces are crafted from solid 925 sterling silver—never plated, never filled—so they’re made to last and age beautifully with wear.
-
I don’t offer ongoing repair or cleaning services, but if something goes wrong with your Salt Hive piece, please reach out. I want you to love and wear your jewelry, and I’ll do my best to help.
-
Yes, tarnishing is natural with sterling silver over time—especially when it’s not worn regularly. The good news? It can easily be polished back to its original shine with a soft cloth or silver cleaner.
-
To keep your pieces shining, store them in a dry place (preferably in an airtight bag), avoid contact with harsh chemicals, and polish them occasionally with a soft cloth.

All pieces are made from sterling silver, which is nickel-free and generally well-tolerated. If you have known sensitivities or need specific details, feel free to reach out before purchasing.
